This Alien Grassland Environment package features an ecosystem of interactive plants that flow in the wind; and light-up when the player touches them!

The package contains everything you need for your game environment, including:
18 unique plant species (11 of which are physics interactive with the player)
A Dynamic Plant wind blueprint that animates wind according to a world-space texture
A Landscape with a world-creator landscape material (using world creator masks)
A Bioluminescent water material
A tileable backdrop landscape mesh
A Realistic Planet Material (with 2 4k planet textures)
Animated Starry Sky Material
An Animated Nebula Material
5 Rock Meshes

Physics Plant Blueprint
The Physics Plant Spawner Blueprint is to be placed within your player pawn blueprint, and will automatically detect any of the interactive Alien plants that have been painted with Unreal’s foliage tool. When an Alien ground plant is detected within the radius of this blueprint, it will automatically switch it with a Plant Physics blueprint which the player can interact with. When the player stops touching and moves too far away from the plant, it will switch back to being an instanced foliage actor, preserving your game’s performance!

Wind System
The plant’s materials have been designed along with a wind system blueprint, which provides you with realistic flowing of grass, shrubs & trees, with minimal performance impact. You can modify the wind simply by changing the public variables on the blueprint, and it will apply to all materials that utilize the wind system.

Landscape with World Creator
The unreal landscape and the backdrop landscape mesh have been generated by World Creator 2, which utilizes splat-map texture masks. To replace the landscapes, you can generate your own within World Creator along with its own splatmaps. Simply swap out the splatmap texture and apply the landscape material, and your landscape will instantly be rendered with the realism seen in the preview images.
