In this course, you will create three simple mobile games using the free Unity game engine and learn about the differences between mobile and PC games, including touch inputs, push notifications, revenue-generating ads, and screen resolutions and layouts. Prior knowledge of Unity and C# is required to follow the advanced concepts taught. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to design games optimized for mobile devices with touch input controls, ensure the game works well on all device sizes and resolutions, incorporate push notifications and ads for monetization, use Unity’s profiler to identify performance issues, and prepare and submit your game for publishing on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The course is designed for both Windows and Mac users, and guidance is provided on deploying games to both Android and iOS devices. As a student, you’ll have access to Q&A forums where instructors and teaching assistants can answer your questions and support you in your learning journey.
