It includes 9 Fish Meshes, two of which have multiple textures for differing species, bringing the total amount of fish to 12. All fish include a minimum of 3 LOD levels, ranging from 1800 to less than 50 triangles. The average LOD0 triangle count is around 1000 triangles.
Fish species include:
· Marlin
· Archerfish
· Cobia
· Barracuda
· Batfish
· Gold Spotted & Black Spotted Sweetlips
· YellowFin Tuna
· Emperor Angelfish
· Butterfly Fish (Black & Yellow)
Each fish includes a Vertex Animated Static Mesh, a Skeletal Mesh, and Physics Asset set up for ragdoll effects. All fish use the same Skeleton, simplifying the animation process.
The Sweetlips, Butterfly fish, Batfish and Archer fish include optionally blended materials which adds variation to their diffuse channel.
This package also includes underwater caustic lighting, fog and depth of field post-processing effects, which can be seen in the video.
Please note: The Vertex Animation Material Function is set to work with the School System V2 by default. To set it to work with the School System V1, open the “MF_LowPoly_VertexAnimation” Material Function, and uncheck the Static Switch parameter labeled “FishSchoolSystemV2”.
